Okay, this suggestion is rather simple but RuneScape gold I think that it would make a big difference as far as aggravation is concerned. But let me tell a story: If you have not done the quest One Little Favor yet there is a part in which you must talk to the gnome on wolf mountain. When you speak to him it begins a long talk about some new type of rope. The one problem? White wolfs. Right next to the gnome that's level 73 that will auto attack you. Since I had been wearing my trusty complete rune I would have had no difficulty holding the wolf off for the dialogue, but since every single time you get attacked you
Loose your chat screen this was a issue. Thankfully for me was a great guy there who kept killing the wolf for me so I could speak with the gnome. Problem: It's quite annoying to be speaking to a guy and subsequently be auto-attacked by a monster and have to initiate the conversation over.
Make it so that you do not loose you talk if a monster attacks you. I think that it would be quite easy to notice a monster attacking you and manually close the box to kill the beast. (I actually don't actually enjoy this one but It might work) Make it so you keep your place in the conversation after you exit. The only way to reset this conversation is to select a conversation ending thing to state. (ei,"no thanks" or"goodbye") (given by Sparhawke) Make it so that aggressive monsters can't get near vital quest npcs.
I believe this little thing would make game play simpler and less frustrating. (These are a few concerns that I think could be asked) Why not just kill the monster? Well some discussions (such as the gnome one) are extremely long and a monster could re spawn in that time.
Aren't monsters attacking you part of the excitement of the quest? Nobeing attacked by monsters when you are supposed to be speaking is simply annoying. There is a time and place for critters. Apart from a few quests needing it, the only purpose of this would be to create your very own house.
