It Is Advisable To Add Hot Stamping Foil In Embossing

  •

With the embossing finish, letters and images of the logo raise in relief from the paperboard. Thus, the logo stands out. While during the hot stamping foil process, the brilliant color on the foil paper is partly transferred to paperboard under the pressure of the engraved die, impressing a glittering logo on the paper printed box. Hence, when embossing comes across foil stamping, a printed paper box starts to be under a glamour, being attractive, alluring and extravagant.

Recently we made such a custom paper box for a client from UK, which gives us an opportunity to tell our customers more details by pictures.

This is a custom paper box for the coffee packaging embossed and foil stamped. The color of the foil is glossy black, glittering brightly by reflection of the light. Thus, the customers can recognize the brand easily in the store. Besides the logo texts, the black stars on the sides also have a glossy black color foil stamping, very appealing and attractive.

Glamorous as it is, the perfect alignment of the embossing and foil stamping is the key. Incorrect and improper registration can lead to disasters, an ugly look paper box. Therefore, the registration is the biggest challenge during the operation. Patience and caution are entailed in the process to prevent any dangers and risks, which mean a huge financial loss.

The coffee paper box is printed on both sides, inside and outside. With regard to the inside, the finish inside is quite simple compared with the complicated finish outside. It is just black color printed with some white introductory texts on the top lid.

The package adopts a TTSLB box structure with the tuck top and snap locked bottom, which is quite easy to be assembled on the production line. It is made of the 400gsm, 22pt SBS C2S paperboard, providing enough strength for the good protection of the coffee inside.
