The 80’s was prime for street fashion as sneakers were being introduced left and right into everyday people’s lives. There weren’t celebrity endorsers like there are today wearing beloved sneakers to increase the hype. The Superstar is an icon, being well favored among many shoes in the adidas Originals line.
Palace is no stranger to collaborating with adidas and today we bring you a first look at the duo’s next project as they will be dropping two colorways of the adidas stan smith schwarz. The Palace x adidas Stan Smith collection includes two colorways of the slightly modified model in choices of White/Cream and Hase Yellow/Ice Pink-Ice Blue. Following the adidas ultra boost sale herren is now slated to drop this month. Essentially draped in the “Core Black/Cloud White” color scheme, the revamped upper bears a striking pattern and is composed of Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. Additionally, black textile adorns the lace cage, heel counter, and toe cap, while a white Boost midsole and Black rubber outsole tops off the design.
The classic iconicstreetshoes.com returns in another new colorway this year as it’s featured in an official mix of “Black/Platinum Violet-Bluster-White.” The retro runner flaunts a mixed construction consisting of leather, TPU and mesh that executed in a webbed-like layout on the upper. Additionally, pops of blue, pink, and volt throughout add vibrancy to the style, while a white midsole, Air Max cushioning in the heel, and a black rubber outsole tops off the design.
