Following the footsteps of his new teammate, Kyrie will be taking notes from Kevin Durant and dropping his own “Weatherman” rendition of his Nike Kyrie 7.Likely one of the most popular colorways in KD’s signature series collection, the “Weatherman” theme debuted in 2011 on the KD 4 and now it will be returning ten years later on the Nike Kyrie 7. Kyrie Irving has marketed his signature sneaker as one that fans can always rely on for new and bright renditions you never saw coming. Now joining the Weatherman collection, the sneaker looks right at home.Displaying a green mesh upper dedicated to green screens, yellow detailing is given throughout via a tie-dye-inspired design. Along with the green screen inspiration, heat-map graphics are given to the sockliner and heel piece while black adds contrast on supportive overlays and the Nike Swoosh branding. To finish the design black and yellow soles are added to the bottoms of the hardwood sneakers allowing you to perform at your best while also looking your best.
The Nike Air VaporMax Plus will be dropping in a bright pink rendition for the Spring dubbed, “Bubblegum”. Newly Jordans, has been increasing their Air VaporMax colorways over the past couple of months and with warmer days ahead of us, the Swoosh will be adding more fun seasonal renditions to the lineup just like this Bubblegum variation. Featuring monochromatic vibes, the full neoprene upper is bathed in Bubblegum pink as the plastic overlays, heel overlays, laces, tongue, sockliner, heel tab, and VaporMax outsole all arrive in matching tones. For great branding purposes, black contrasting detailing is given to the Nike Swoosh logo on the ankles and the tongues to finish off the flavorful design.
The UV light changing tech has been a go-to for many in the sneaker industry and now for Summer 2021, Kanye and adidas will debut their very own with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Light.Over the past couple of years, UV-changing sneakers have blossomed from a variety of different brands. While Kanye usually leads the pack with trends, the designer will be jumping onto the train in his own unique way. Dubbed, “Light” the Yeezy is expected to feature a white makeover that features neutral and tonal shaded like we’re accustomed to. When exposed to light, on the other hand, the primeknit design will subtly change with darker shades highlighting via knitted portions. The main change will appear on the mesh stripe which looks to don a darker shade of brown. While this is the first from Kanye and Yeezy, we may be seeing more UV-changing kicks from the duo very soon.
