  Hi all! I’ve got a few figures I want to clean up for an upcoming publication, but I’m not exactly a graphic design pro. Anyone know where I can find someone with a scientific background who can also handle the design part?

  Hey! I was in the same boat a few months back. After some digging, I found Ella Maru Studio https://scientific-illustrations.com ;, and they were exactly what I needed. They specialize in scientific images and animations, and they totally get the technical language of research. It saved me hours of back-and-forth, and the figures turned out publication-ready and visually impressive.
