    Test Following Implementation: Once IP restrictions have been established, make sure they are functioning. To make sure you're properly blocked, try accessing your RMM from an unauthorized IP.
    This was also necessary for documentation platforms: There are other targets besides your RMM and PSA software. All of your IP addresses and passwords are in one location on your documentation platform. IP restrictions are equally important.
    Varieties of API Behaviour: This is crucial since different tools handle APIs in different ways. While technologies like IT Glue impose IP restrictions to everything, including APIs, Datto RMM's IP restrictions do not apply to their typical API usage. You must specifically allow certain IP addresses if you have integrations like LionGard updating data in IT Glue, or else the integration will fail.
