  The most crucial aspect to consider when picking what to wear on a golf course is if you appear respectable and intelligent.
  Because golf has a reputation for being a bit of an old-fashioned sport, novices to the game may feel overwhelmed when it comes to figuring out what they should and shouldn't wear to the course.
  And it may appear that there are just as many regulations on how to play golf as there are on what golf clothing to wear.

  So, to assist guys golfers, here is a list of what they should wear on the golf course:

  If you need more layers, wear a collared polo shirt with a sweater or rain jacket.

  Long slacks with belt loops or shorts that are over the knee

  If you're wearing shorts, any socks will do, although white socks are preferred.

  Golf shoes with soft spikes, spikeless golf shoes, or trainers with good sole treads are recommended.

  Baseball caps and visors are acceptable headgear.
