The originators of GRS have always sought to, “unite the campus through literature and laughter,” says creator, Dr. Daniel Williams, Professor of English, “It creates a safe place for fellowship and beauty.” This particular GRS has some new features: the largest group of guests to date, the first time it will be held on a Friday night instead of a Wednesday night, all the student guests are seniors, and several mystery guest will make appearances.
"Old School" guest, Nathanael Planalp says he loves the GRS for many reasons, “I really love the intrigue, the laughter, and the tears that are always present at the Geneva Reading Series. It is a chance for students and faculty to get together and share or listen to something God has made significant in their lives.” Refreshments from Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea will be provided for all in attendance.
