  The full release of WOW Classic Gold Buy is coming on August 27th. The game will use Patch 1.12.0 as a foundation. This patch was the first to add PvP Battlegrounds to the game. Over time, Blizzard plans to introduce "new" content to Classic just as it did with the original game. When Classic launches, it'll include Molten Core, Onyxia, and Maraudon. The game will eventually add classic raids like Blackwing Lair, Zul'gurub, and Naxxramas. We don't yet know when Blizzard will roll out these new phases. We'll keep you posted on this as we get more.

The vague ‘summer 2019’ that we heard back at BlizzCon last year is now officially August 27, just ahead of the game’s 15th anniversary. As previously announced, Classic will be included as part of a standard WOW subscription.

  At a presentation to members of the press earlier this month, executive producer John High said that “This is our love letter to our fans, to our players, to our community. This is something that they have asked for. This is something that they convinced us is the right thing to do for our players.”
