How To Get Photovoltaic Solar Panels?

  •     A common solar PV module consists of solar cells, glass, EVA, back sheet, and frame. There are 3 types of solar panels on the market: mono solar panels, polycrystalline solar panels, and thin-film solar panels.

At the cell structure level, there are different types of fabrication materials, such as monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, or amorphous silicon (ANSI). The manufacturing process for the first two batteries is somewhat similar. The steps involved in producing crystalline solar panels are inseparable from these steps.

    Step 1: Sand

Most solar panels are made of silicon, the main component of natural beach sand. High-purity silicon is produced from quartz sand in electric arc furnaces at very high temperatures.

    Step 2: Ingots

Silicon is usually collected as solid rock. Hundreds of these rocks are melted together at very high temperatures to form cylindrical ingots. To achieve the desired shape, a steel cylindrical furnace is used.

As the ingot is melted, care is taken to get all the atoms perfectly aligned in the desired structure and orientation. Boron is added to the process, which gives the silicone a positive polarity.

    Step 3: Wafer

Wafers represent the next step in the manufacturing process.

Silicon ingots are sliced into thin slices, also called wafers. Wire saws are used for precision cutting. A wafer is as thin as a sheet of paper.

    Step 4: Solar Cells

The following process converts wafers into solar cells capable of converting solar energy into electricity.

Cells are processed per wafer, with metal conductors added to each surface. The conductors cause the wafer to form a grid-like matrix on the surface. This will ensure that solar energy is converted into electricity. The coating will promote the absorption of sunlight rather than reflect it.

Step 5: From Solar Cells to Solar Panels

The solar cells are soldered together and metal connectors are used to connect the cells. Solar panels consist of solar cells that are integrated into a matrix-like structure.

Control Panel The most common kWh system for UK homes is a 4kWh solar system.

After putting the batteries together, add a thin layer of glass (about 6-7mm) on the front, facing the sun. The back panel is made of highly durable polymer material. This will prevent water, soil, and other materials from entering the panel from the back. Next, add junction boxes to enable connections inside the module.

It all comes together once the frame is assembled. The frame will also provide protection from shock and weather. Using a frame will also allow the panels to be mounted in a variety of ways, such as using mounting clips.

    Step 6: Test the Module

Once the module is ready, tests are performed to ensure the battery is operating as expected. STC (Standard Test Conditions) is used as a reference point. Place the panel in a flash tester at the manufacturing facility. The tester will provide an irradiance equivalent to 1000W/m2, a battery temperature of 25°C, and an air mass of 1.5g. Electrical parameters are recorded and you can find these results on each panel's technical specification sheet. Ratings will reveal power output, efficiency, voltage, current, shock, and temperature tolerance.
