  RS485 best practice requires a termination resistor to be placed at each end of a network. The 0975AT cable has a built-in 120 Ω resistor. Another 120Ω termination resistor is supplied with the 0975AT cable, this should be installed at the RS485 Master end of the network.
  Alongside their use in data transmission, optical fibers can also be used for measuring temperature, light, breakage, expansion, pressure, and oscillation. This functionality offers effective monitoring of buildings or other properties, e.g. for the early detection and localization of fires.

  If there is only one sensor on the network, then an 0975AT cable should be used.
  Only one 0975AT cable should be used on a network.
  A 120Ω resistor must also be placed at the RS485 Master end of the network.
  All other sensors must remain unterminated using a 0975A Sensor Cable.
