Most water feeders for dogs will have some type of dispenser, cup,dog water bottle asobubottle.com, or bowl type of area for your dog to drink from. Regardless of how it’s designed make sure it will be comfortable for your dog.
While not standard, one convenient feature you may appreciate is the ability to control how much water is released, and another is the ability to retract water back into the bottle to eliminate waste. Different people have different thoughts about the ability to retract water back into the bottle. On one hand, you won’t waste water, but on the other hand, some don’t want dirty water in the bowl going back into the bottle. A solution to this can be getting a bottle with a filter.
