The Indians announced some moves today in to their Baseball Operations Department, naming Brad Grant as the Vice President of Baseball Operations. The team also promoted Scott Barnsby to the Director of Amateur Scouting. Grant has spent the last 10 seasons as the clubs Director of Amateur Scouting. Barnsby recently finished his third season as the clubs A sistant Director of Scouting and has been a member of the Indians Amateur Scouting department since 2002. Barnsby will take on the day-to-day management of the Amateur Scouting department and will continue to lead the progre s made in Amateur Scouting under Grants guidance.
