The DC100 is called a “two-wheeled robot” thanks to a myriad of sophisticated electronic sensors aimed at keeping the bike as safe and efficient as possible. All these features, as well as the bike’s battery and powertrain, are housed under a bulky bodywork that gives the DC100 a futuristic aesthetic. The DC100’s complex electronics can sense ambient temperature, battery, motor temperature, and the position of the bike relative to its surroundings. The DC100 uses gyroscope sensors to determine factors such as pitch, tilt angle, and even yaw, similar to modern performance-oriented machines.

The Davinci DC100 features a traction control system that behaves like a modern performance machine. The sensor measures the difference in speed between the front and rear wheels and shuts off power when it detects that the rear wheels have begun to slip. Finally, it is equipped with a power recovery system that slightly recharges the battery during coasting and braking. Bike software updates are deployed on Over-The-Air (OTA), just like smartphones, so owners can easily update their machines to the latest software from the comfort of their home.
Davinci has not disclosed the exact specifications for the DC100 battery and electric powertrain. However, the company has set some high goals for this bike in the future. We are currently developing a fast charging system that can charge batteries from flat to 85% in just 15 minutes, one of the fastest charging times in the world for EVs.
